here we are now, entertain us

In one of the great moments in music history, probably sometime in the late 1980s, Kathleen Hanna wrote the words "Kurt smells like Teen Spirit" on a wall in KC's home. This was in reference to Kurt's girlfriend at the time, Toby Vail (guitarist/drummer and Bikini Kill bandmate of Kathleen's). Apparently Toby used this particular brand of deodorant (ironically, I surmise).

I never actually took a whiff of this stuff.... not even in the dollar store yesterday. I guess I missed my chance!
